Biography
Then in August, Roch Voisine left again for Nashville to record a very personal album, Confidences. This new album, which was released in Europe on December 6, was the 25th of Roch Voisine’s career.
Fall 2010, Americana in Canada and Confidences in Europe In September 2010, it was Canada’s turn to welcome the Americana adventure. Volume 1 was released on September 14, 2010, during a much anticipated event at the Just for Laughs Museum. Critic reviews and fan response were unanimous: 80,000 copies were sold in less than three months and the album was certified Platinum. A spectacular return for Roch Voisine!
A series of live shows was planned for English Canada and Quebec. The tour began in Ontario in October.
From mid-November to mid-December, Roch took a break between concerts and the promotion of Americana in Canada to travel to Europe. He spent the month promoting the release of his album Confidences in France, Switzerland and Belgium. Just two months after the album became available in stores, it was certified Gold with 50,000 copies sold.
