Fear My Thoughts was originally found in 1998. Founding members were Patrick (guitar-
former member of Parracide, which once released a split-cd with the well known metal-act Evereve),
Lex (drums), Bart (bass) and Matt (voice). Later on Markus (guitar) and Lisa (violin) joined the four.
With only one real line up change, the band early tried to combine all the musical influences and the individual experiences the members gathered. The first demo was basically old school hardcore.
The first mini CD "Sapere Aude" grew a bit more experimentally. Their first real full length 23 marked the
direction the new musical way was heading to. This quiet successful output followed later on the CD
"Vitriol" which again featured more melodies and showed that the musicians had learned more skills.
The last release again differed from the other ones. As a result of the level of communication among the
individuals, they managed to create a pulp that sounds somehow familiar but strange and interesting
at the same point.
Fear My Thoughts will always be an expression for the experiment of combining musical influences and the joy of making music. Until now,the band played ca. 150 shows all over Europe.
