Even listening to bands like these, it took Ricardo a little while to find out that his instrument would be the drums. No wonder Confessori confesses to be influenced by drummers like Ian Paice, John Bonham, Alex Van Halen and Tommy Aldridge

Ricardo played in Garcia & Garcia, with which he recorded the album "Mr. Fire" in 1990, a relic for the collectors and in Korzus for a year and a half, doing a lot of shows.
Confessori was not the first drummer in Angra. He assumed the spot only after the recordings of "Angels Cry" (first album of the band) was finished. To record that album, Angra counted with a special participation of Alex Holzwarth, from the band Sieges Even, Rapsody.
Besides being Shaman drummer, Ricardo Confessori has a side project too, "Motorblues", together with Luís Mariutti, a band of blues-influenced compositions!
